iPhone XR Haptics inconsistency after upgrading from 12.4.1 to 13

Since updating to 13, my haptics are all over the map. Sometimes they’re strong. Sometimes weak and sometimes nonexistent.

A test I do is to long press on the same app on the home screen over and over. I get different feedback intensity almost all the time.

Also, I hardly ever get feedback when I swipe up to activate the app switcher.

It’s really a system-wide issue. I’ve tried a hard reset but that didn’t work.

Anyone else having similar issues? Thanks.

I just tried doing it on an app 5 times in a row, was pretty consistent. Also tried app switcher 5 times in a row and again consistent. I am on 13.1 so that might have something to do with it.

I’m about to throw this phone against the wall. Should I take it to the Apple store? It’s already my second replacement due to haptic issues. What in the living @“/) is going on? I Waited five years to upgrade and now I have this?

Yep. I’ve changed every so many things I can’t even remember them all. I guess I’ll just talk it to the store.
