Hard case causes MacBook Pro to run hotter than normal

I was excited as my hard case for my MacBook Pro arrived, but it made my MacBook Pro run hotter than normal, so I took it off after running the MacBook Pro for a couple of hours.

It was the Osaka soft touch case form eBay for $25 or so dollars. I think that I am just going to go for a sleeve now.

Have you guys noticed any issues when using a hard case with the MacBook Pro?

Yup. It makes my MBP run hot enough to cook eggs on

I have a Speck hard shell and temps never rose more than 1-3˚ compared to when I used it without the case.
However, I also have a unibody MacBook with an Incipio Feather and it does raise the temperature a bit more.
