Sorry if a similar thread already exists, but I couldn't find one.
Activity monitor always (and I do mean always) shows my hard drive as have data written. I have it on my menu bar and it is always showing the bottom arrow highlighted. I have no programs open at the moment, just Firefox. I have looked at processes that are running and nothing seems to be out of the ordinary. Every single second there is somewhere between 100-200 kb/s. That seems pretty significant. Is that normal? That means the hard drive is literally always spinning?
