Hi all,

I will be visiting the UK in September, specifically York and wanted to grab a MacBook Pro 13". However, I also want to upgrade the hard disk (scorpio blue 500 gb?) and ram to 4 gb.

Could anyone tell me where I can get these components? Online shopping won't work for me as I'm not a UK resident...is there a brick and mortar store I can go to? Currys and PC World don't seem to stock these things!

Thanks!

EDIT: OK you just edited your post :p

Personally, I think you would be better ordering it off the internet when you get home. Brick and Mortar stores will charge far more than the online prices.

It depends how far you're willing to travel I guess. Some online stores such as Scan allow you to order online and collect from their depot (in Bolton).

i am wondering the same thing, but how would someone go about upgrading the hard drive/ram if the battery is built in now?

EDIT: nvm i see the screws along the edges of the bottom
