Hard drive and warranty

I have the first gen unibody MBP (late 2008) with the removable battery. If I want to change the hard drive to a SSD, does it void my warranty? Also what about RAM? Also, can I upgrade the memory to 8GB like the new ones? Thank you.

specs: MBP 2.53Ghz, 6mb L2 cache, 512mb 9600gt

No changing ram and hdd aren't going to void your warranty. As for the 8GB, I don't think it will recognize it.
