Hard Drive Back-up question

Im currently making a full backup of my macbook HD to my External HD. Is it normal that its taking 14+ hrs to fully backup? I have around 50gb to transfer.
Im using Superduper to do the backup..if that matters.

yea, ive checked and its writing to the External.

ok..so it took alot longer than I thought..prob around 17-18 hours. haha But atleast its done now. I checked the External and everythings there.

Now the question is..once I put the larger HD in..and load leopard..do I just drag back the apps/ docs I want to keep?

Could be your USB drive. It's not normal as I backup 120GB in around a few hours.

Do you have it conected through a USB 1.0 hud because that could really slow it down.
