I recently bought a Mac Pro 2.8GHz with a 500gb hard drive, and recently picked up two more 500GB hard Drives for a total of 1.5TB's of storage. My question is what is a workable solution for ensuring that my information is backed up with time machine or some other type of backup program. with these 3 drives it is kind of an awkward situation; should I pick up another 500GB drive and have two raid 0 1TB drives and can I possibly mirror those two Raid0 drives? for the record I don't have a Mac Pro Raid Card. This is all very confusing to me and I appreciate any help I can get

Thanks, Ken

you could just store the OS and apps on one drive (easy to wipe and re-install when needed) and keep all of you data on the 2nd drive. use the 3rd for time machine.

done.
