Any way to get my non-itunes-bought music back off of my ipod?

Or do I have to redownload it?

I have 1.1.4, but my ipod was bought in Sept. of 2007

Great...

Is there a Windows version? Sorry, I should have mentioned.

The last two websites suggested don't work with ipod touch.

I had used ipod2computer after my computer's hard drive failed and the program worked okay for me. It now doesn't recognize the touch so they must have changed the program.

You could try TouchCopy. They offer a free download and ask for $20 for additional support so I don't know if the free program is fully functional or not but it's worth a try.

You could also take a look at http://www.*********.com/ipod-music-transfer.html

edit: link didn't come through. Just Google ( transfer ipod touch files to pc ) and you'll get dozens of hits.

I believe he was talking about his computer cause if his fake iPod HD (hard drive) crushed he could just get the song from his computer an I think ipod flash memory has somethingto protect it from deleting the stuff stored on it
