I just bought a MBP 2.53, 4gb ram. I love this machine, it smokes my old Dual 2.0 G5 in rendering...anyways I just noticed that the formatted capacity for the hard drive is 298.09 Gigs. This computer should have a 350 gig hard drive. I know that formatting isn't an exact science/principle but should I feel cheated out of the potential "50 Gigs I should have? If so, should I go back the apple store and ask for a resolution to this?

Ah. I see, you're right. Thanks for pointing that out, I feel a little dumb now. Well problem resolved now I'm completely content with this machine. Thanks.:D
