Hey guys, I will be purchasing the 17'' uMBP this week with the 2.8GHz, 500GB HD (7200 RPM), 4 GB of RAM and the matte screen. My question is whether or not you would suggest getting the 128GB or 256GB SSD, obviously from an outside source due to price. Or should I use the money to get a decent monitor. I will be doing a lot of Photoshop and Graphics work on it, so I was leaning toward the monitor. Is the SSD that much of a difference over the 500GB, or any other suggestions you might make other than what I have mentioned would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hard Drive/Display dilemma

The 17" built in screen is quite nice. If you want an external just for size/desktop setup, then I'd definitely do that over an SSD upgrade.
