Today it went to zero space remaining. No idea why. So I had to force quit a bunch of stuff. And miraculously it went to 4 GB.... what's going on? I can't find an unusual folder or anything. Is my MacBook Pro 15" 2.4 GHZ running 10.5.8 being used by something/someone remotely? What to do?

it says zero hard drive space

can that happen from virtual memory being used?

I'll download that and

i checked it out with Omni Disk sweeper and didn't see anything odd.

FCP, DVDSP, InDesign, Photoshop

Those were the big ones open during the afternoon when it seemed to fill up... but this never happened before - just started 2 days ago. Can't figure out what's different....
