wow. i am having a serious problem with my macbook.

the capacity of my HD is 55.57 GB. At this time yesterday, I only had about 20 GB (maximum) of this drive full. I did some web browsing and downloaded a BitTorrent program and a couple random files that I deleted.

However, I just got a message saying that my HD was almost full (or something like that). When i check my HD, it says that 55.37 GB is being used and 203. MB is available. There is no way this is possible.

I've looked up the bulk of the files that I have and I only have like 4 GB of music ad 4GB of music.

What could have possibly filled up my HD?! Is there any way to find this out.

PLEASE help.

I would, asap, boot from a Leopard or Tiger DVD and run Disk Utility.

But before doing so, make sure you have backups, you never know....
