Hello,
I have a 2017 MacBook Air with a SSD of around 125GB, of which ~100GB is being used for the system. Is this normal? If so, what can I do to free up space, as I'm getting a message saying my hard drive is full. I don't have many photos, documents, music, or videos taking up space, so am at a loss as how to free up space.

Last Mac Os systems have a lot of disk space, but 100Gb, I think is too much. Meanwhile you can try to search files by size in finder. Sometimes you discover very large files that you didn't know and you can erase them. Proceed with caution anyways.
