Hard drive gone

I have a Macbook Pro that will be 2 years old. I was pretty disgusted to find out the hard drive is gone.

They sent me a 1 day priority fedex box, that won't go out until Tuesday.

Has anyone had a recent experience and how long do you think the turn around will be?

I have an old 1996 gateway that still has it's original hard drive. Makes one wonder,

The usual turnaround is about a week. (sometimes less sometimes more)

In most cases, Apple's repair center is very fast.

Sorry to hear about your hard drive failure. Sometimes drives last for 15 years, sometimes they only last a week. It's really frustrating when one dies sooner, rather than later.

I hope you had a good backup of your important files.
