I have a PBG4 and recently got the dreaded "white screen" at start up. I read where you can use the install disc to maybe fix the issue...would this be the same disc that came as leopard?

Also, if I need to get a new HD, any suggestions? And how difficult is it to change it out yourself?

Yes.

Or you can use your original discs that came with the computer.
