Hi,

My Macbook's (2.16Ghz, 13.3") 120gb hard drive recently packed in, and all i got when powering up was a flashing question mark and a clicking noise. Through support I was advised to buy a new HD, which I have, but it is 320gb.

Please see above for the HD in question - it's exactly the same size physically, also I noticed that there were a few MB related comments which led me to buy.

As I am not very computer literate I just thought that any would do, but have just seen a comment on youtube saying that there is an upper limit to the size laptops can handle and am now quite worried.

Will I have to buy another HD, or will this one be treated by the MB as a smaller drive, but still be compatible?

Any help greatly appreciated,
DTE

Heres what you do... theres little screws on the side where the battery is... pull out the hard drive... Stare at it for 3-5 minutes and... grab a hammer and SMASH IT.
