Hard drive icon help!

I stupidly changed my HD icon, but now i want to change it back to the original
i downloaded a copy of the icon from google, and tried to chage it
but its just coming up saying .jpg

also im using geek tools atm and i have put in the date and time
but the time doesnt update any ideas on how to fix this?

The icon problem

As far as the HD icon goes; all you need to do to restore the original icon is select the HD in the finder by clicking on it. Then do a Command "i" to get information. Then select the icon on the top of the information window and press the "delete" key. It will restore to the original icon. Sorry but I can't help you with the second question.
