hard drive install .. questions

i installed a 500gb hd in my 09 unibody and i booted up with the mac osx install cd and it doesnt find the hd .. so i went into disk utilities .. and im going to partition it .. but i dont know what format ..

the choices are

mac os extended (journaled)
mac os extended
mac os extended (case sensititived - journaled)
"" (case sensitive)

k thanks guys .. that was the default option as well

im always used to not naming my volumes in windows .. but it wouldnt let me not name this partition .. so just named it mac
