Hello!

I want to upgrade the hard drive of my MBP 13'' 2.26 Ghz.

What would be a better choise (performance, noise,...): Hitachi, Fijitsu or Scorpion?

Thanks.

I personally prefer Hitachi drives. Fujitsu's seem to make a lot of noise and WD Scorpion HDDs, IMO, are the biggest pieces of **** to ever come out of the HDD industry, other than the IBM Deathstar.

I have a Scorpio Blue and love it
So do a lot of other users on the board

I just installed the Hitachi 500GB 5400RPM drive on my mid 2009 13" MBP...

Noise? What noise?!? This is the quietest drive I've ever heard or I should say not heard... There is simply no noise.

About performance... I need more time.

Edit: Compare the 2 x-Bench results... The onlything different is the HDD!
