What is the best app for looking at the biggest files and folders on my computer. I used to have one that mapped your hard drive out with different colours that was really good!

I have some hoe managed to "lose" atleast 30gb which I reckon is in old movies and stuff!

Have a look at JDiskReport over at JDiskReport

Alternatively, look at DiskInventory X at Disk Inventory X
 
An aternative to "the alternative" that beefy23 mentioned is GrandPerspective
although after taking a breif look at their site, it looks almost the same as Disk Inventory X

i wish someone would do a disk usage thing like the one we had back in the old days, probably sys 4-6, that had a girl whose bare breasts would change size reflecting the amount of free space avail...the more space avail, the larger they were. OK, maybe not PC, but it was a fun icon to have on the tool bar. (Version 0.97)
