Hard Drive names on Desktop are appended with capacity and free space

So where the Desktop icon for my internal hard drive simply read: "Macintosh HD", it now reads

"Macintosh HD
500 GB, 215 GB free"

Anyone else have this? It started when I updated Safari, of all things. Thanks.

I'm not sure why a Safari update would change it, but the setting is in Finder under View/Show View Options and is called "Show item info".

Thanks! And yes, the Safari update was the ONLY thing I did. Though the computer rebooted about six times and took forever.

Also, I just noticed that the zoom on some of my excel documents have been bumped up to 400%. Weird.
