Hey guys,

Having a problem with my Mac Pro running OSX 10.4.11. I have a Lacie GRaid hooked up through Firewire 800 to it that it was running fine. I clicked one the drive, got a spinning beach ball. Let it sit for a bit, then finally had to power the computer off. Power cycled, and now it won't read the drive at all. The drive itself appears fine, as it will be read off my MacBook Pro without incident. Any ideas?

No dice, repairing disk permissions and repair the disc from the Install DVD didn't help either. Any other ideas?

See if it appears in System Profiler, and change to another FW800 port if you Mac Pro has additional ones. System Profiler does not dynamically update so you will have to go to the View menu->Refresh or exit/relaunch it each time.
