Hard Drive not showing up,.../

Im trying to install 10.4 on a powebook..that the disk was just erased and thats it...

under the cd..disk ulitities its not showing up or anything...

what can i do?

If you don't see any disk in the disk utilities when booting from the install-cd/dvd then it may be that the drive is dead.
Did the erase finish without errors? What have you done next?

I would first try to reset the PMU and the PRAM and retry.
