Hard Drive on Network/Private Cloud to Share Files Between iPad, Mac, and PC?

I want to have a hard drive (an internal 2.5'' drive) be available somehow over my wireless network so that I can connect to it from my iPad, add/view files from my PC, or Mac. I want to to be as small as possible and dont want anything that is enterprise grade that big, just being able to make 1 or 2 small 2.5'' drives availalble over the network would be great in what would be like a private cloud. Is there such thing? If so, what do you recommend?

Have a look at the Seagate GoFlex Satellite. I briefly read about this the other week - this may or may not fit the bill
