Hard Drive partition deleted but not formatted

Hi,

Using parted magic (live boot cd) i deleted the partitions on my hard drive but I didn't formatted.

I know the data is still there but I don't know how to recover the partition table. I had os x and win xp bootcamp.

I was looking at disk warrior for the mac
or
Data Rescue 3 for the mac

I don't know if these applications would be able to recover the table and was wondering if you guys had any thoughts.

Doesn't the gParted Live CD repair kaputt partition tables? And why did you delete the partitions in the first place?

Does it? I have a look.

I was erasing a drive and had the wrong drive selected.
