What hard drive performance test software is best for the Mac Pro and Snow Leopard? I need to test in normal config with SSD and HDD and in RAID configs.

Any additions on overall system performance test software for CPU, GPU, etc...

Thanks in advance!

Hard Drive Performance Test Software

Is this considered the best option for Mac? I am looking for an in-depth test that provides respectable results. I know there was a program called h2benchw for Windows which was highly praised. I am looking for the same for Mac.

You're probably not the only person looking for software like that for OS X. There is also HdTach and HD Tune for Windows.

Sorry I am confused by your last response... Are you saying those packages are also available for OS X?

Is the consensus that XBench is the only thing available for OS X?

It is what I have used in the past but I do wish I knew of other applications.
That's all I'm familiar with as well. :(

The others are primarily Windows based (those listed above, as well as others, such as ATTO Benchmark).

I use often Quickbench from speedtools.com. - sorry - its payware.
