Is there any way of stopping the user from renaming the hard drive by clicking on it ?

It's just a bit of a pain when you've caught the mouse / keyboard by mistake and discs loose their name.

Cheers,

Paul.

You can set the permissions so they don't have access to do so.

Get Info on the hard disk (command + i) and then change the permissions so that "everybody" has only read access.

Note however, this means they won't be able to save or change files without an admin password.
