Hard Drive restore problem

Was upgrading my hard drive from the stock 160GB to 2 TB WD Green drive. Using Time Machine to restore everything back. Everything went great until the restore complete. I got the prompt to complete the process, hit it and then the machine rebooted. When it did, I received the prompt to turn off the machine and reboot. Did that and got the same prompt again, and again, and again.... Not sure what wrong, anyone?
