Was looking to replacing my drive in my MackBook Pro i7 but I wanted to find a drive that shuts off when it feels a shock. I know the drive that came with my MacBook does it but I am not actually sure if this is done at the OS level or if it is done at the drive level. And if it is done by the drive, I am not sure what the technology is called so I am not sure what to look for.
