Hi I have macbook running 10.6.6 , i have almost 10gb space left on my hd. But I tried opening an embeded divx movies from a site and I have noticed that my hard drive space goes down to 1 or 2 gb while trying to play the movie. I shut down or restart and everything is back to normal.

Why is this happening? any ideas, how can i stop this.

Why is that when I restart I get all the hard drive space back again. where does it go when trying to play a divx movie online, is it the buffering that taking up the space temporarily? why does not it release the space after i close the browser and only releases it after a restart.

Please suggest.... Ohh I am using firefox
