I recently upgraded my hard drive from a 160 GB (no partition) to a 500 GB 7200 RPM. I had my 160 internal drive mirrored Raid to an external 160 GB Drive. After I installed the 500 GB drive and restarted the computer the external drive rebuilt the mirrored Raid drive on the 500 GB but it built it as a 160 GB Partition. Thinking that the mirrored Raid was limited by the smallest drive I replace the 160 GB external drive with a 500 GB external drive. When the mirrored Raid rebuilt the external drive with a 160 GB partition. The whole idea was to get 500 GB of space not stick with 160 GB of space.
Is there a way to remove the partition and utilize the entire 500 GB mirrored Raid short of making a disk image on another drive and reformating both 500 GB drives and then reloading the drive from the disk image?
