Its upgrade time! I got an onscreen warning last night and managed to free up about 10gb easily but I'm still not done cataloging my CD collection for DJing.

Anyway. I do a little Music production and DJing and would love a 7200 drive but I'm reading about noise and I don't like it. I can't really see the other benefits of 7200 out weighing the negatives.

Any its a 2.26 Macbook pro. looking at least 500gb. Suggestions, bargains?

Im in the UK

thanks dude. Im looking to spend about £50. So you would say WD over seagate? The drive in the Mac right now is the standard one. Is it Hitachi that apple use

For 50 pounds, you can get 500GB. I prefer WD over Seagate but that's just a personal preference. Apple uses various drives, including Seagate, Samsung, WD and Hitachi
