I'd go for speed and then if I needed more space, I'd rely upon an external. :)

I have been leaning towards the Seagate but it does not state SATA interface. Pricegrabber reviews mentioned that one weakness of the Seagate was that it was not SATA interface. :(

This one does though. It's only $5 more.

So it won't work as an internal drive then! Ahh, sorry, I should have checked the links before I commented. The second link doesn't work for me either. Nevertheless, you have to get a SATA drive.

Cancel your order and get the extra HD space. I didn't notice any noticable speed increase when using a 7200rpm drive on my Powerbook. There are a few threads on this subject. I just purchased that same 160GB Hitachi drive yesterday, and it's shipped today. I can't wait to get my hands on it and install it on my MacBook, This 60GB drive is pathetic.

-sighs- It already shipped. Can't cancel it. I guess I'll see how it goes and if not then I'll opt for the Hitachi.
