Hard drive upgrade

Just bought myself a Travelstar 250gig drive that I want to put into my MBP.

Now I have an external drive on USB2, if I put my new drive in this housing, will I be able to clone the existing 160gig drive using CarbonCopyCloner? Through USB2?

If I can then I will take out my old drive and put in the new one, and hopefully be able to run my computer as before.

Any feedback welcome!

Carbon Copy Cloner will do the trick

Thanks - I've done it over firewire, but not USB2 so wasn't sure it would work the same

Carbon Copy Cloner works over USB 2
It won't be as fast
Now Migration Assistant is a different story
