yes?

Are you asking me right back? I seriously wish to know, this baby only has 75 gigs in it, and to replace the internal is a lot cheaper and more efficient then buying and external.

It should work just fine. :)

Do you know what that means? That was in my system Profiler. Does that mean i can't take the hard drive out of this computer?

Oh ok, thank you! Sweet. I'm Psyched.

Just another question. If i were to take my current hard drive out and all that, would it void anything on my computer?

Thats not on the CPU or whatever? Not that it effects me since i have OSX Tiger Disk and i will be getting the Leopard Disk too.

What if i took it in for the apple people to do?

So would it just be more worth it to buy an external HD?

Does this computer even have anything to be voided at this point?

If your not comfortable replacing the Hard Drive yourself (as most aren't), an external HD is the best option.

How old is it? Did you buy AppleCare?

Apple care yes, and i think its like 2 years by now? i forget when these came out, but it was pretty close to the orginal release of these.

Hey thanks man, but i dont know much about Maxtor...Is it "going to be a good product?" Are they a good company?

AppleCare extends your warranty to 3 years. So yes, it's still covered. So you would still have something to loose if you voided your warranty.

Maxtor is a good brand.

Hmmm. I have a lot to ponder now. Thanks guys for the help.
