Hi everyone, this kind of got alluded to in another thread, but I thought it deserved a thread of its own.

I recently built a PC and put in my IDE drives with IDE to SATA connector for use in it. One was seen fine by the computer, the other one never worked, I think the connector was just fried. Anyways, somehow both drives stopped being seen, as well as the system drive which is an IDE drive on the IDE channel, though.

When I plug them in to my Macs, either through a USB case or directly inside of them, I hear the drives spin up, but they never show up in Disk Utility.

Anyone have any idea how I can reformat and reuse these drives? They can't be dead now!
