From the time I ordered the case and by the time I got it, it was 72 hours. Actually, 2 and a half days. It shipped real fast. And I live half way around the world (Singapore). Anyway, back to the review. The case was GBP 111 so it is by no means a cheap sleeve.
The sleeve was packed well. First in a paper bag and then in a cloth bag inside. First, the star of the show. The leather. You got to smell it for yourself. It is fantastic. This is no cheap leather, not by smell and neither by touch. The craftsmanship is flawless. Every stitch is done perfectly. The iPhone is nice and snug in there. A little too snug perhaps but not enough that you have to use considerable force to pry it out. If you hold the sleeve upside down, your phone will not slide out. The interior is wool for the phone slot and part wool part leather for the outer cards/cash slots. Leather expands depending how you use it. As such, I recommend not using too many cards or if possible, no cards at all so as not to deform the leather. It is a sleeve. Nothing else much to say.
Now to the negatives. The leather is raw leather. And every mark and scratch is clearly visible. For me, this is no issue. I believe this adds character. But if you want a leather that is spotless, you are better of getting your case/sleeve from elsewhere. Now, these blemishes are not so obvious that you can see them from across the room. But anyone inspecting the case will see them. By no means a deal breaker for me. I will try to take pictures of the scratches later, if possible. The next negative is that the sleeve is a sleeve. Meaning you will have to take it out to use it. Granted, this affects all sleeve cases but I felt it is worth pointing the obvious out.
Personally, I love the sleeve. Leather is of extreme quality, worksmanship is excellent. Shipping, though expensive, was quick. You do get what you pay for. If you're in the market for a high quality leather sleeve, you can't go wrong with this.
