Hey there, yesterday my macbook pro 13" late 2009 hungup while starting from standby, so I had to turn it off. After rebooting there was just a grey screen and after a while a question mark appeared. I reset the smc, pvram and nvram -> no change. Therefore I wanted to reinstall OSX SL, but the harddrive could not be found by the disk utility. Booting from a Ubuntu Live CD allowed me to save some of my data, the disk was mountable. Rebooting again with the OSX disk: no harddrive found. Reformatting with Ubuntu resulted with an error, too. Any ideas? Will this just be a failure of the disk or could it even be the logic board (which I don't believe in, because Ubuntu is still able to read from the drive).
