sometime back I tried to swap the preinstalled harddrive with my own 320GB Segate and that didn't go down well with the Macbook. I've changed back to 160GB and everything work fine now.

Then there came a huge thread about some issues with 3rd party harddrives and the new Mac.:confused:

I just wanted to know if there's any list over supported harddrives i CAN use in my Mac.:eek:

I think drives with fall sensors don't work well with the MBP since it has a fall sensor of it's own. I've used a 7200RPM WD Scorpio black in 160 and 320GB variants without issues. A lot of people use the 5400RMP scorpio blue too but I am not sure about it's speed.
