Hey all.

I'm looking for a hardshell type case for my 17" MBP

I currently have a booq vyper sleeve and booq backpack. I find that the MBP will want to slip out of sleeve if not tightly zipped up. It has done this twice now, and I have minor dents on my corners.

Anywho, I think I would rather just have it in a hardshell case all the time, and not worry about dinging it.

I looked online at the InCase and Speck models. Any input for purchase would be greatly appreciated.

i've heard stories about the speck case. cracking, scratching of the MBP, etc. etc.
Just go with in-case. I have some of their products for iPod and had a sleeve thing for the iphone, it was great. very reliable

I have the 17" black incase.

It is very nice, but keep in mind you will not be able to tilt your screen all the way back. It also makes a heavy laptop even heavier.

The feel of the case is very nice: rubber-like without being soft and mushy.
