I imagine not, but just wanted to confirm.
I have a Touch that was shipped the day after the keynote (not from Apple) - "old" stock, and tomorrow is the last day I can make an excuse to return it. I don't have any issues at all with paying the extra for the software mainly because I can't be bothered to wade through the returns process, but if there is a hardware difference I could probably be persuaded to go through the returns process.
