I am thinking the graphic card is out but I am not home atm. My wife does a lot of converting large 20 to 40mb images to smaller sizes for web use and this morning she booted up her Dual 2.5 ghz G5 Running 10.4.1 (I think) with the x800 card on her 20" cinematic display.
Everything is fine - the computer goes into sleep mode while she is away and when it awakens the monitor colors are now strictly blue/green/yellow. Everything - she can not sync colors, even the beach ball is not a rainbow color.
Any thoughts on how to efficiently diagnose the problem. My wife will connect the display to another computer to ensure the monitor works but I am thinking the card might have gone.
