Hi, in what log can I find information about removed hardware device?

Is it possible to find out when a miniDisplay adapter was removed from a running Mac Pro (login window)?

The miniDisplay Adapter was connected to display2 in a dual monitor setup and is now stolen... It would be interesting to find out the actual time it was removed.

I have search for display in several logs, but cant find anything about the disconnection of the miniDisplay adapter or a monitor/display change.

What would be the correct word/device to search for in the logs?
