I ran a Hardware Monitor test for my Mac Pro Mid 2010 2.66ghz 6-Core Westmere X5650 CPU and would like to know if these numbers are good or if these numbers are bad and out of range. Below are screen shots of my Mac Pro specs and Hardware Monitor output. Thanks.

The numbers look good, however, obviously these are the idle figure, won't tell much. You have to stress the CPU to 100% (all cores) in other to know if the parameter can stay inside limit.

Besides, your PSU temperature (location 2) is a bit high, for this loading, I expect a figure that no that much above the location 1 figure. If you know how to extract the PSU, may be you can take it out to have a look. If that's full of duty, better to clean it up. If you don't know how to pull it out, simply shutdown the Mac -> pull power cable -> open side panel -> pull out the optical cage -> apply compress air to the PSU back and forth a few times... should be good enough to push out most of the dust.

A clean PSU temperature should looks like this (when idle). Location 1 temperature very close to the ambient temperature, and location 2 temperature should be just few degrees higher than location 1.
