Hardware Update Help on Power Mac g5

I currently Have a: Dual 1.8 Ghz PowerPC G5
Memory: 1.5 GB DDR SDRAM

I am a Mac User and in no way an Expert.. My G5 is the Power behind my home studio and I am looking to Upgrade the G5..

I understand about updating the Ram and getting matching Pairs and even have the Chart from Apple Support.. Anything else I need to know?

Also Can I increase my processor speed if so how (link)?
What can be my max speed? recommendations?

Anyway to Update to a Quad over the Dual any reason why I would need to or not need to??

Also looking to add more USB inputs into my G5. I am leaning more towards PCI (if available) as I am not sure what Hubs can handle and I am needing to Plug IN Audio Interfaces and Synths..

'Home studio' What's your business? I just upgraded from a dual 2 GHz to a new MacPro 2,26 2009. Doing a lot of editing and sometimes Motion, I could use the speed increase.

Just a thought, you can also consider buying a new machine and sell the old one. You may still get 500 dollars/euros for it depending on the upgrades you have in there.
