Anyone who has a connection to a Harvard (the university in cambridge, ma) student or employee might want to think about these deals they're advertising:

20" iMac Core Duo 2.0, 512, 128vram, 250g etc, with wireless keyboard and mouse for $799

Mini 1.5 core solo, 512, 60g etc for $399

All computer purchases also get a Canon Pixma MP160 printer free.

They have some other deals, but the 20" iMac is pretty awesome, my girlfriend bought this exact computer from Harvard about a year ago for $1700 before tax. Add an $80 1g stick of ram from newegg and you're in business, really nice machine, i'm on it right now.

Now if only I could wait a year from when they released the Mac Pro and get it for 45% original cost (after edu that's like $1050...I'll take 2 please). Somehow that doesn't seem likely.

Nice prices.

The mini is an especially attractive option for those who'd otherwise get an Apple TV - that extra $100 gets you a lot.

I bought four of the 20" iMacs @ $799 for my department yesterday. The free printer/copier/scanner has a instant rebate instead of mail-in rebate!
