Has anybody realize that when you reach 61% percent battery, it drops directly to 59%? It happnes in my 6+ and my air 2. No 60%...
Same when you charge it. From 59 to 61...

A lot of users in other forums are in the same issue.

The number 60 is kind of like the 13th floor in the battery tech world, it is bad luck. So just like building elevators skip over the 13th floor, battery percentage indicators skip over 60%. Hope that helps.

no my battery indicator is off. It must be painful watching your battery meter. I don't need that pain in my life thanks.

Yes yes, report. U will check that the issue happnes in ur device as well...

Could it be that Apple changed the way battery percentage is shown/calculated in the code?

When I'm charging my iPhone 5, I've noticed that it updates the battery percentage a second after the screen has been turned on. This never happened before iOS8.

Or maybe it's Apple's planned obsolescence that's killing my iPhone 5...

It's not just from 61 to 59. I believe it also happens in 55 then goes to 53 and I know there is another one in the 10s or in the 20s.

But of course I have turned off the % so this stuff doesn't really bother me anymore.

OMG, you don't say... Now I will not get any sleep over this issue...
This MUST be battery gate for sure.
2% drop instead of 1%..?!
Return your MEGA FAULTY iPad and iPhone for a refund now!
Who knows, it might explode next...
Btw; Also don't forget to press hard underneath iPad display to produce funky "circles", the harder you press the more stupid rest of this forum board becomes. Simply genius ;)

Wow, I'm a huge fan of sarcasm but this is simply taking it too far. You've also missed the point - the OP was stating that the battery percentage changed from 61% to 59%, not commenting on the battery life. Way to look stupid.

The percentage is really just an estimate anyway, so it's just a minor glitch. It probably stays on 61 or 59 longer to account for the missing 60.

Perhaps you were doing some really battery-hungry work at 61%..?!

;)
