Has anyone actually talked to ATT yet?

I've been trying to call them all day and have yet to be able to get ahold of anyone. Has anyone actually gotten to speak with ATT customer service to figure out what's happening with these ridiculous ship date estimates?

These "ridiculous shipping dates" year after year if you purchase through a 3rd party and year after year people still do not realize this. Buying through Apple is the only way you can almost guarantee a day 1 delivery.
