Anyone been shipped a bumper recently from Apple? I am being told they are backorder (since june 26)
 
my pink one arrived yesterday and hubby's white one shipped yesterday... both were ordered on the same day....
 
I ordered a white one form the UK store on thursday morning - it said it would be 3 weeks initially, then got an email that afternoon saying it had been shipped. Got it monday morning!
 
I walked into an Apple Store and they had a wall full of them. No shortages at all.

Bought two and left.

Wait wait I am in the same boat and interested in doing this....so you just called apple and they sent you 2 of them?
 
I ordered the blue bumper on the 25th, and it's arriving on the 15th... I know that's way too long.
 
Ordered my black bumper about a week and a half ago, and it came today (yesterday actually, but thought it was coming Tuesday so I hadn't pre-signed for it yet).

BTW, definitely cures my reception issues. Or at least my issue of dropping bars. Plus it looks pretty nice on there.
 
Black one arrived yesterday for Mr. cthoops. I received a shipping notice yesterday evening for my white one, to be delivered next week.

I had a terrible customer service experience with one customer service agent, so they sent me two for my trouble. I would expect them to send you one replacement in most cases.
 
Ordered mine July 6 and received it yesterday....July 12th... seems to stop the death grip problem which was not that bad on mine.
 
Ordered July 5th (Black)
Shipped July 9th from China
Received July 12th (same timing as my iPhone that was ordered weeks earlier)

First iPhone
Always kept iPod Touch naked
Bought it for some protection while being as minimalistic as possible
Surprisingly, I actually prefer the bumper
Makes it more comfortable to hold

Did you buy yours online? If I bought mine in store I am probably better off just going into the store and trying my luck.
 
yes, I was shipped two recently. I actually got my black one today, and my pink one is schedules for the 15th. I was a little annoyed because both of them were at the local fedex hub, but were held to deliver the date specified by Apple. Theoretically, I could have got both yesterday, because they were at the closest hub on Sunday. I still have ot wait to get the pink one on Thursday.
 
I had Apple put in an order for a free black bumper back on June 27th. On July 4th, I had it changed to a white. It said a ship date of July 27th. I just checked a minute ago and it now says prepared for shipment. That is a pleasant surprise
