Has anyone bought a refurb ACD?

I've been trying to wait for apple to update their cinema displays for about 6 months now but i just can't wait any longer. I've always had good experiences with refurb apple products but a refurb display worries me. I keep getting the feeling I'm just going to get a display that has some dead pixels that was sent back. Anyone have any experience with refurb ACDs?

I know what you mean. That's why I ordered my 30" from my uni. only $100 more.

In the past few days I've only seen a 30" refurb in the apple store. Maybe I'm not searching correctly.

And to answer your question I have a refurb display that has been fine so far...

You can return the refurb if there are dead pixels.

That, and any products that are refurbished were tested again before being sold and still carry the standard 1 year warranty, and are eligible for Apple Care.

I wouldn't buy anything but refurbished unless someone else is getting it for me.
